What should characterize a good nutcracker for walnuts, hazelnuts, and others with hard shells? First of all, it must be a handy product, as comfort of use is important in this type of task. Secondly, its design should guarantee you quick and effective work with minimal effort. Thirdly, every well-designed nutcracker - including the model from the Nomo product line - adapts flexibly to different shell diameters. In this case, this has been achieved through three working surfaces. The one closest to the handle allows for cracking large nuts (e.g., walnuts). The panel at the top will easily handle smaller specimens (e.g., hazelnuts). However, there is a third element in between that can be used for comfortably peeling raw almonds, as it provides fully stable support for their shell.
